I recently left my job on purpose. One of the biggest adjustments is how much more output there is on my own. I got a good salary at my job but it really did not matter how effective I was on any given day as long as I did not miss deadlines and my employees were meeting their goals. It took me awhile to get in the rhythm of producing, but it is much more satisfying.
