I have been surprised in recent months by what you expressed. 1 — how virtually no one has reached out to us other than what is obligatory over the past year, although I may be guilty of the same myself. 2- how events of the past year have opened my eyes to the ways I actually DONT align with my community’s dominant perspective. Like you, I am also in limbo because of the pandemic, but don’t know what I will do or where I will be in church life once social distancing begins to truly end.
