What a beautifully written article. I have read The Circle Maker many times, and love it because it elevates my faith. But there is a section that focuses on big personal goals that feels a little off message to me. But the book speaks to me because it elevates me from my own perspective, which often becomes small when life gets busy.

Trusting we can rest is counter-cultural and counter-intuitive. This is a season where I feel like some days work is blocked and I need to rest and worship in those moments. It's a balance I need to strive toward; belief that God is working out the big (but sometimes small from the world's perspective) things out while we wait on him and rest. Maybe that's the type of rest I need :).
